Diamond coating to restore & add sound-quality to vinyl records

"STORM's Lab." offers a process for applying diamond coating to vinyl records. The purpose of this process is to restore and provide the records properties and qualities better than new. Also, this process can be used to start-up your own business in the form of franchising, which we offer with this appeal.

The restoration a vinyl record artists will enjoy an exceptional and significant increase sound quality and provide press plants in their productivity and a reduction in the cost of producing a record, as well as an increase in the sound quality of the new record produced. Particular attention should be paid to the fact that this process will allow to use for record's production a recycled plastic; (not necessarily vinyl) to produce of high-quality audio products

For the test here is showing examples of restoration of vinyl records - so call "before & after" restoration and coating them with a diamond layer.

The equipment used, that by the sound test was performed, is also presented, a small fragment of the video with the sound as well - naturally digitalized.

  • Playback device: "Technics SL-1600 MK II" (Vintage)
  • Tonearm: "S" shaped, regular.
  • Phono cable: "Furutech Ag-12-L" (110pF)
  • Pickup head: MM "AT-VM-95ML". (separation, measured - 27db)
  • Phono corrector: "NG-6M" loading (50K)
  • ADC: Korg MR-2000S
  • Digitizer program: AudioGate (split into tracks)
  • Processing: - ultrasound vinyl wash in distil water
